PrettyLittleThing’s Sustainable Tram Wraps

Well, these trams turned into something pretty for sure!

The advertising agency, Global, approached VGL on behalf of the well-known clothing retail brand, PrettyLittleThing, for help with an advertising campaign they wanted to launch as part of their marketing strategy.

We discussed the project with the client and pulled together a unique proposition using sustainable printed graphics to set them aside from their competition. Through our collaboration with Metamark, we established a Re-cover and Re-use printing material that can be further processed into recycled products: the vinyl has a secondary life in the form of plastic furniture, traffic cones and other road management components, whilst the liner is turned into greetings cards, packaging and high-end paper and card products. We wrapped the Sheffield supertrams with these eco-friendly printed vinyls to boldly display the pink, unicorns and branding of PLT.

The increased demand for a sustainable circular economy is something we are seeing from all parties as businesses and organisations aim to manage their ‘green’ credentials better. Sustainable printed products in our portfolio are backed up by a robust, full circle supply chain and help deliver environmentally friendly product ranges to our customers and their end users.

VGL continually explores new materials and processes to remain at the forefront of sustainable practices and we look to work together with our clients to support their CSR goals.
