You may have seen us at the In Store Show 29th – 30th June, Olympia. It was an opportunity to introduce our new identity and to showcase the benefits of fabric for retail and promotional activity.

We were pleased to see that there was a good deal of interest, particularly with the quality of the fabric prints from our new Durst Rhotex 320. We could also demonstrate first hand the flexibility, simplicity and style of our change frame system for interchangeable retail displays - something we are championing at the moment.
VGL celebrate the purchase of a new 2,230sqm factory. The unit is just five minutes from our existing two facilities taking production space to over 6,000sqm. The factory will house both of our new Inca Onsets with collation department.

We’ve also equipped Smallmead with the latest digital equipment for the production and finishing of printed fabrics – the revolutionary Durst Rhotex 320 and the Dupont Artistri.

It also played host, for a few mad days, to our impressive showcase installations, demonstrating the range of technologies and services we offer – all within arms reach.
VGL has supported Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research over a number of years. This year Michael Ayerst, Director at VGL, ran the London Marathon and raised over £6,000 for the charity thanks to the kind support of everyone at VGL, our suppliers and customers and friends. This is the second time Michael has run the London Marathon for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, running it in a respectable time of 4.30. But, given that the first time he achieved 4.03 he’s planning one more go with an attempt to achieve the elusive four hours.

Since 2008 VGL has contributed over £25,000 to Leukaemia and Lymphoma Re- search.
