New Investment at VgL - NUR Expedio 5 metre digital press
VgL's commitment to the best technology continues with the installataion in February 2006 of the new NUR Expedio 5 metre digital press.
This high throughput wide format UV production press combines speeds of up to 150 sq. metres per hour with high quality 720 dpi output. Capable of working with virtually any rolled media this machine not only works well with standard medias but is also very good with speciality papers and textiles.
To address today's growing environmental concerns and regulations NUR Expedio's UV curable inks contain no volatile organic compounds meaning there are no harmful emissions. The Expedio will become part of VgL's digital print factory which at nearly 26,000 square feet is one of the largest in Europe and includes a full range of digital equipment including machines from Vutek, Inca, Nur, 3M Scotchprint, HP indigo and Oce LightJet and forms part of VgL's multi million pound investment programme.
